gph, Bristol City were absolutely hopeless losing cricket scores every week til Beard took over. Got them to the last day in with a shout. He galvanised them some what.

Matt Beard seemed determined to relegate someone.
Even after we got rid of him, he still managed that ambition.
Got to feel sorry for Bristol City - they'd probably still be up if their proper manager hadn't needed maternity leave.
